It's time to get busy and make some more Birthday Cards!
This one was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge Blog, Sketch #728.
Recently, I was playing around with this "Beautiful Butterflies" stamp set from Stampin' Up.
I had randomly stamped some butterflies for fun and decided to break out the alcohol markers to hone my coloring skills!
When I saw the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, I knew it was the perfect fit for the four butterflies!
I just needed to "fussy" cut them, since I did not have the matching dies to go with this stamp set.
After cutting them out I added a little bit of sparkle using the "Wink of Stella" brush/pen from Stampin' Up.
I added a bit of patterned paper to make the front of the card pop (Stampin' Up Inked Botanicals #161157).
Then a quick sentiment using the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and a tag from the Stampin' Up Stylish Shape Dies and a dots trail stamp on the right edge to give the effect of a magic trail following the butterfly on the far right.
I stamped the inside of the card with two additional stamps from the Beautiful Butterflies set: Sentiment: "Time to Celebrate" and a pretty butterfly in the bottom right corner.
